I have gotten my birthday cake done at this bakery for years and they never fail to bring a smile to my face. They always bring me fantastic cakes and quality service. Every year I bring them an idea for a cake and they execute it beautifully! Their pan dulce is also so delicious and they have a large selection to choose from (a favorite mine is the guava pastry). I wouldn't think to get my cakes from anywhere else!
We ordered a Mario Bross cake for a nephew, and he absolutely loved it. It was beyond expectations and soooo delicious!!! I definitely recommend this place not only for cakes but also for pan dulce and tamales!!!

I like all types of breads. Carbs are my guilty pleasure. I have tried home baked baguettes, all types of Asian pastries, but I am not as well versed in Mexican bakeries. So I decided to give La Ideal a try. It was a little intimidating seeing all types of breads but the entire family that works there were extremely friendly and made recommendations for me. I ALWAYS support small business because they are made by hand and you can taste the love and care in the product. La Ideal bakery is no different! I enjoyed all the pastries I tried. I don't even remember the names. But they also make little cake pop desserts! Very good and fresh. Price was definitely fair considering they use quality ingredients. Oh and the cinnamon coffee was excellent too! Highly recommend!
